Ever wonder “what does she know that I’m missing”? This was a thought that I’ve been thinking for a while.

After years of business success, financial windfalls and a marriage to an amazing man, I still felt like it wasn’t enough.

My discontent was so debilitating that it robbed me of fully enjoying vacations and the company of inspired people. My creativity was blocked and my excitement for the present moment was dulled.

Then I made a decision to leave it all behind so I could get in front of it.

I packed my bags in January for Denver, and like Siddhartha, I left the “good dream”. I wasn’t fleeing from a disaster of any kind. Instead, I was divinely inspired to find my peace in a place where I had some roots yet no recent history.

Like a lobster shedding an old constrictive shell, I began to breakthrough. Most people believe they need MORE to have MORE. My experience was quite the opposite. I saw that to make room for my magnitude, it was necessary to cast off what kept me stuck.

Here’s the wisdom that I connected with during what I’m now calling my “Consciousness Cleanse”:

– My peace and happiness lies within me: For my entire life, I believed that something outside of me would make me happy. The corner office, hot relationship, overflowing bank account, beach house…..all of these THINGS are nice yet they’re not sustainable. The FEELING behind the FORM, for me, is the freedom of knowing I’ll always be guided. That’s what I was really after;

– All decisions that I make in a forceful way will result in disaster: I used to waste weeks being indecisive. I polled scores of people before making a significant decision. I now understand how to call-in my Inner Wisdom on-demand so I get direction (from my intuition) that leads me to my next level;

– Thinking is my enemy: I was conditioned to believe that smart people succeed. Knowledge was my addiction and if I wasn’t performing, it was because I wasn’t thinking hard enough. I now know that quieting the mind is the way to WISDOM. By practicing Transcendental Meditation (http://TM.org) twice a day for 20 minutes I’ve called-in extreme focus and clarity. My creativity is off the charts and clients are flocking to me.

Aptly, the word Siddhartha is made up of two words in the Sanskrit language, siddha (achieved) + artha (what was searched for), which together means “he who has found meaning (of existence)” or “he who has attained his goals”. In 4 short months my journey was complete.
